We’re not sure if it’s an industry wide trend as of late, or if it’s just a coincidence that so many of our brides are planning destination weddings. Either way, we’re thrilled to help them create beautiful invitations to set the tone for these exquisite events around the world!

It’s always fun to help plan the most formal of formal events, at the chicest hotels in the world’s most dramatic cities! Here, we’re talking about a black tie affair (on a reserved floor) at none other than the St. Regis in New York City.
Another invitation was for a wedding at the American Church in Paris with a black tie reception at Hotel George V, complete with tours of the city while sipping champagne on chartered open air buses in between events! It just doesn’t get more fabulous than that!
Or perhaps you’d rather be swept away to a remote island, off the coast of Venezuela? Imagine our surprise when a cute couple came in earlier this week; the bride is from Venezuela, the groom from Britian and they’re currently residing in Angola, Africa! They’re whisking their friends and family from all over the world to a remote boutique hotel in Los Roques.
If traveling half way around the world for your wedding isn’t exactly practical for you and your guests, but still want the excitement of a destination wedding, consider another city within Florida. We’re working with a bride is currenlty planning her destination wedding at the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. The Flagler Museum is so breathtaking, we’re featuring a black and white photograph of this historical estate on the Save the Date announcement. And who doesn’t love Palm Beach?! It’s the best of both worlds – the beach AND the (quaint) city with fabulous shopping and restaurants.
In summary: destination weddings make the wedding weekend just as exciting for the guests as the bride and groom. Everyone loves to get out of town and enjoy a fun weekend with their spouse and friends in a unique setting.
So, pack your bags and grab your passport – we’re headed to Paris! Well, maybe not exactly … but it sure is fun to live vicariously through our brides! 🙂
